The Garden of our heart

Hi friends,
It has been sometime since I last sent out a blog. It is wonderful to be back with
you all again. I always appreciate you allowing me to be in your space to share a
thought. My heart is that this blog, the ones I have already sent and the ones to
come will be an encouragement to you in your journey each and every day.

Since returning from my last trip, among other things, I have been trying to get my
yard and garden done.
The other afternoon as I sat resting after a day working in the garden, I thought of
how much I enjoyed just looking at the result of my work. I remembered that
when God stopped to look at His Handy work in the book of Genesis, that is you
and me, how He said it was very good. He took pleasure in His Creation.

What if we could realize He watches us, His sons and daughters, with joy and
satisfaction. He can see our spots, blemishes, weaknesses and strengths but it
doesn’t change His view. He carries on if we allow Him, to work in the garden of
our lives from the vantage point of Love.

He doesn’t throw the whole garden away if there are weeds and dry places. Like a
caring gardener, if we are yielded ground, He waters the dry places and pulls the
weeds from the roots out.
Paul said in Philippians, message translation, “We are the focus of His love to
make us whole and holy”.

He is always tending the garden of our hearts, not to find fault, but is driven by His
Love for us, making us whole and wholly.

If you are reading this and are a believer, think how much He watches and loves
you. If you are reading this and do not know yet your Father in Heaven, He is as
close as your words asking Jesus to be involved in and lead your life.

See you again soon,
Adrienne

  2. My God loves me! All of the time no matter what. I choose to walk with Him, nearer and nearer as He chooses me to dwell with Him in this garden of life.
Just hearing your beautiful words encourages me to rest and dwell with Him. Adrienne you always encourage and spur me on to develop my relationship and understanding of Gods heart. Thank you!
