Our Day

Hi there,
I pray you all are well and navigating this time with purpose and peace.
This is a quick thought as I was reading this morning.

The book of Joshua, Chapter 1 and verse 11, it says this,
“Pass through the camp and command the people , saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go into possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess’

We have to pause here for moment and realize the depth of awe in this moment.  Here they stand, poised to head into the Promised Land.
This moment had been wished for, hoped, believed for, over centuries.  A long time before they had spent the 430 years in Egypt, God had spoken of this moment to Abraham. And, here it is, right here, right now!

As they were preparing to move forward, they had no detailed road map, they just knew to cross the Jordon, (which means transition) and head towards Jericho.  They had not been this way before.
They carried with them a simple promise from God, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” their instructions were “be not afraid, do not fear, I am with you”

Today, as we find ourselves in this moment of unprecedented circumstances, we ask ourselves,
Can this time be a time to bring change that men and women of yesterday hoped for, prayed for, dreamed of?
Maybe an “Awakening”?
A point in history that will bring changes, not for 5 minutes, but for generations.
Can this moment be significant for us personally, to regain, renew and redefine some things? Possibly learning new skill sets to be more creative and adaptive? We can make it our moment of significant change.
“A turning point, a learning point, a point of discovery “

We may not have a detailed roadmap forward, but what we do have is, His Promise to never leave nor forsake us, His instructions not to let fear hold us back, for He is with us,

We, like Joshuas people, stand in a moment of historical change,
we will rise, we will go forward, we will possess

God Bless you, I sincerely hope this may encourage someone.
