Hello again,
I just wanted to share a thought, once again from the workings in my
garden.
I noticed a plant I had forgotten to water for some time, it looked dead.
The branches were brown, definitely not producing flowers which usually
are so pretty.
It did not take long after I watered it and with the rain the next day, within
24 hours, this plant was very much alive and started producing again. It
still had a way to go, but it was growing again.
It doesn’t take long or much to be the water for someone else’s life. Often
times we see someone downhearted, disappointed or discouraged, and
we can feel helpless to bring them hope and happiness again. It is often in
these times when a smile, a compliment, an encouraging message can
make all the difference. These things cost nothing except a little time and
thought but they become the water to someone’s life.
It doesn’t take much to make a big difference. We know ourselves there
are and have been times when someone acknowledged us with a smile or
an act of kindness and it bought a significant change in our hearts.
Once the heart is encouraged, life begins to flow again, faith begins
to rise again, and flowers begin to bloom in life again.
We can strive to be that drop of water in a life that is void of hope and
kindness where someone feels that nobody cares.
Let’s be the salt, the seasoning that makes life better for
someone else.
Much love,
Adrienne
